2023

A great year of growth and new relationships. With the help of our 2022 hiring of Jessica our Bookkeeping Manager, we have expanded our ability to serve many more bookkeeping clients while freeing time for more tax preparation. With this continual growth we have finally moved our offices to a larger space. We moved around the corner and upstairs to 26 Mulberry St.. But, don't worry there is an elevator. No more steps for our clients! We have a reception area and new offices for our personel. We are also in the midst of bringing on a receptionist to greet you and help facilitate a more efficient flow of clients during the busy season. Matthew is looking forward to meeting with old friends and new in the upcoming tax season in 2024. The Lord is good. New or old we will see you soon.

2022 

A hectic year, yet one of victory in many areas of our lives. As I write this, it is with great thanks to every client that we served this year. Suddenly short handed, we found that Redemption Accounting clients are the very best. With their help, and God's Grace, we stayed on schedule and got the work done. At the end of the tax season, we brought on a new Bookkeeping Services Manager, Jessica Phillips. Jessica has been a great blessing to the Redemption Accounting family and has been instumental in our bringing in new friends to serve. This coming tax season will be the best yet, as we begin our second decade serving the bookkeeping and tax preparation needs of Jackson and the surrounding areas. Explosive growth is coming in 2023!

2021 

This year was as normal a business year as one can hope. We increased our bookkeeping and tax clientel. With new friends and our tenth tax season ahead of us. We look forward to expanding our knowledge and efficiency to better serve all of our Redemption Accounting friends.

2020 

What a different year it has been. We are fortunate to be a small business in a small town. Jackson has been relatively untouched by the COVID19 pandemic but the economic impact here has been as devastating to our economy as anywhere. We are grateful to our clients for being patient with us through this strange and new territory. Our business has endured and we continue to plan expansion in both space and personel. In November of 2020 we brought on Tomeka Giddens as our Bookkeeping Manager. It will be an exciting new year in 2021. Thank you to all of our clients both new and familiar for your support in 2020! 

2019 

In 2019 Redemption Accounting Inc. DBA "Redemption Accounting" experienced another year of growth. We are proud to announce that growth continues and Redemption Accounting Inc. has brought on more bookkeeping and tax preparation clients in 2019. As we expand we will be looking to hire permanent employees is 2020. Thank you to all of our clients for your support in 2019! 

2018

In 2018 Redemption Accounting Inc. DBA "Redemption Accounting" remains and thrives at 112 East 2nd Street in downtown Jackson, GA. The building completed renovations on the lofts and new icecream shop neighbor. Tax season saw explosive growth for 2017 tax returns as well as bringing on new bookkeeping clients. We added to our services as well. Redemption Accounting now offers assistance to start up businesses in the areas of incorporation, establishing bookkeeping systems and preparation for upcoming tax season issues. it was a fantastic year personally for the owner. Matthew had the honor of marrying Lindsey in early 2018. Redemption Accounting expects even more growth in 2019.

2017

In 2017 Redemption Accounting Inc. DBA "Redemption Accounting" remained at 112 East 2nd Street, in downtown Jackson, GA as the building began renovations. The enterance is now more accomidating. We have an agreement now with the Lucy Lu"s Coffee Shop that allows us to see clients unable to walk our stairs inside the coffee shop! Office hours are back to normal as life continues to change. We had a little help during the tax season and we are growing toward another full time staff member. We continue to grow and look for the future as we aproach 2018 with new tools and abilities.

2016

In 2016 Redemption Accounting Inc. DBA Redemption Accounting remained at 112 East 2nd Street, in downtown Jackson, GA. Office hours were again reduced during the year due to the illness of Jayne, who was the inspiration for the business. In May, Redemption Accounting lost Jayne's insight and beauty as she went Home to be with the LORD. We hope to honor Jayne's memory as we continue to grow and look for the

future as we aproach 2017 with new tools and abilities. The following is just a small bit about Jayne: 

    A beloved first wife and mother, she assited Matthew in this business. Her heart has always been to be a wife and a mother. As a faithful wife she leant her years of experience and wisdom to Matthew as Redemption Accounting developed. She and her input will be missed as Redemption Accounting continues to grow under the Lord's guidance.                                                                                                                    Jayne was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 20+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting and bookkeeping. Excellent tax preparation is done and reviewed by people like Jayne. She held degrees in Accounting and Economics. Jayne was a valuable asset to Redemption Accounting and our clients and shall be sorely missed.

2015

In 2015 Redemption Accounting expanded again in 2015 taking on new non-profit and small business bookkeeping clients. We remained at 112 East 2nd Street, in downtown Jackson, GA. Office hours were reduced during the year due to family illness, yet Redemption Accounting was still able to expand into a larger market. Tax season saw significant growth in 2015 also. At the end of 2015 Redemption Accounting incorporated and is now Redemption Accounting, Inc. dba Redemption Accounting.

2014

In 2014 Redemption Accounting expanded in 2014 taking on new business and individual clients. 112 East 2nd Street, in downtown Jackson, GA remains our home. As the year progressed so did our knowledge and expertise. 

As this business grows we would like to extend our gratitude to all our past, present and future clients.

2012 - 2013

In late 2012 Matthew decided to make Redemption Accounting a full-time full service accounting business designed to make professional tax preparation and professional bookkeeping affordable to those who need it. In January 2013 Redemption Accounting officially opened a new office in downtown Jackson, GA at 112 East 2nd Street.

2010 - 2012

Establishment:

Redemption Accounting began as a part-time joint venture of Matthew and Jayne Henderson. It started as a tax preparation and bookkeeping service that served as a ministry to those needing tax preparation and bookkeeping assistance. It also served as a means to stay current with tax law and bookkeeping techniques.
